PROSAMI Recognized by United Nations

 
 

On May 10th the United Nations Committee on NGOs, during their formal examination of applications for NGOs with “Special Consultative Status, “ recommended PROSAMI for this designation, with no questions posed for PROSAMI Board /Committee members. This is a very big honor for PROSAMI and will enhance our international visibility. Many thanks to Agnes Kanyanya and Forrest Kerns for representing PROSAMI at the United Nations headquarters in New York City, for this momentous hearing and designation. This proclamation of recognized consultative status by the United Nations., for PROSAMI, underscores PROSAMI’s presence as an outstanding role model for the international community, regarding evidence-based, safe, and compassionate nurse-midwifery run Maternal/infant clinics in many regions of our planet Earth.
