UVA Health partners with PROSAMI to provide telemidwifery education systems our nurses in the Democratic Republic of Congo to become advanced nurse-midwives through sequential didactic and practical clinical training, allowing midwives in the DRC to connect with nurses in Virginia. In addition, ongoing teleconferences are held between our midwifery students and professors in Durban, South Africa; Ng'iya, Kenya; New Delhi, India; Staunton, Virginia, USA; and Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
